Challenge
We need a strong accountant and leader for this newly created position!
In this Sr. Accountant role, you will provide one of Rochester’s
leading organizations with internal coordination and reporting for all
stock based compensation plans and related costs in accordance with
SFAS 123(r). Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Gathering information from divisions and Human Resource teams for
use in calculating stock-based compensation cost in accordance with
SFAS No. 123(R).
• Monthly tracking (preparation and reconciliation) of stock-based
compensation cost and related deferred taxes (as applicable) associated
with option grants, restricted stock awards and employee stock purchase
plan.
• Assist with the development, reconciliation and maintenance of stock-based compensation system.
• Responsible/assists with forecasting of stock-based compensation
cost. The forecasts are used in the annual plan, the annual effective
tax rate estimate, and in guidance tables included in press releases.

Criteria for Response
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Minimum of 3 years Public Accounting experience
• Very strong excel skills and detail oriented
• We do not need strong stock compensation experience for this position – just the ability to learn!
