An
interim Global Head of Compensation, Benefits and HR Analytics is
urgently required to join this Asset Management firm based in the
City. You will act as an internal consultant to Business Area Heads and
Functional HR Client Relationship Managers on key strategic
compensation issues in Asset Management. You will also be responsible
for the management of the Compensation and HR Analytics team to provide
high quality HR management information to support business decision
making.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a broad background in global compensation markets, particularly within Asset Management businesses
- Be able to influence senior managers on key strategic decisions
relating to compensation positioning for both individuals and business
functions
- Provide HR strategic input into business decisions using reports and analysis provided by Comp & Analytics team
- Have a demonstrated track record on managing complex global processes with tight timelines
- Possess independence of thought and personal resilience
Provision of advice and support on all Compensation and Benefits
issues for Business Group, including key hiring, termination,
acquisition and due diligence activities
- Management of Compensation and HR Analytics team through Team
Leader to provide co-ordinated functional and regional support on all
HR data reports and analytics
- Liaison with Group Functions on all technical issues relating to
the delivery of appropriate compensation solutions for diversified
businesses within Asset Management, including representation on “Comp
Comm”
- Leadership of the annual Core Cycle including compensation,
promotion and key talent activities through Business Group HR CRMs,
Education and Development function and HR Analysts
- Liaison with Asset Management Finance function for annual bonus
accruals, including maintaining detailed models and providing input on
profitability dynamics
- Liaison with Asset Management Strategic Planning and Finance on
models for valuing acquisitions, liftouts and business initiatives
- Providing input to the Asset Management HR Operating Committee to
work with senior colleagues on key strategic issues affecting delivery
of HR function to the business
- Representing the Business Group at a senior level on Group projects as appropriate
