Deloitte Consulting LLP has Senior-Level compensation consulting opportunities in our Total Rewards Service Line.

Locations
Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, or Los Angeles
 
The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:

•    Business Development: develop and maintain contact with decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to proposal pricing strategy.
•    Practice Development & Eminence: develop solutions and methodologies, develop "thought ware" and "point-of-view" documents, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.
•    People Development: perform role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the firms staffing process, and actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.
•    Engagement Management:  manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
 
Responsibilities:

Presentations and Business Development
•    Preparing client reports including exhibits and summaries that provide insight to clients and are focused on business solutions
•    Leading and participating in and presenting at client meetings
•    Leading and participating in marketing initiatives including writing proposals and conducting surveys
•    Researching and preparing speeches for internal and external presentation
 
Market Analysis
•    Benchmarking base salary and total cash compensation levels, and conduct variance analyses
•    Conducting custom compensation surveys
•    Modeling financial impact of compensation plans
•    Monitoring trends and best practices in broad-based and executive compensation
•    Developing  performance management programs to support pay-for-performance
 
Other
•    Participate in broader Total Rewards and Deloitte Consulting projects including rewards redesign, cost reduction, mergers & acquisitions, shared administrative services, and other transformational business events 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
•    Fifteen (15) plus years of related experience in a compensation consulting firm or in a corporate compensation department
•    Master’s Degree is a plus
•    Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office skills and compensation methodology skills
•    Ability to work on multiple projects
•    Very strong experience writing proposals and participating in business development activities
•    Ability to work well with others in a team environment
•    Self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
•    Strong written, verbal and quantitative skills
•    Attention to detail
 
Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree
•    6+ years in a consulting firm
•    6+ years of experience compensation experience
•    Willingness to travel at least 10%
