Key Responsibilities:


* Manages a team of compensation and benefits professionals responsible for the design, management and communication of global compensation (base salary, incentive compensation, long-term incentives) and benefits programs to assure culture fit, cost competitiveness, attraction and retention of employees.
* Offer competitive perspective regarding total rewards strategy and design, including identification of trends and emerging issues.
* Works collaboratively with HR Business Partners and Executive Leadership to develop and deliver compensation programs that align with key objectives of the business.
* Collaborates with HR and Sales to design and deliver effective sales compensation programs that align toward key business objectives.
* Provides data analysis from multiple Bio-Technology and High Technology surveys to determine market competitive total reward practices to improve compensation programs and ensure internal and external equity.
* Communicates, markets and tailor's Total Rewards strategies and programs to comply with local market customs and regulations.
* Oversees development of benefits strategy with a particular focus on design, analysis and delivery for business locations outside the U.S.Work Experience:


* 10+ years of experience and progressive responsibility in the compensation and benefits fields.
* Experience efficiently scaling a global total rewards function to support the company's business goals and growth.
* Broad experience with variable compensation programs: particularly short-term incentive bonus design, sales compensation design and long-term incentive (equity) design and knowledge of competitive practice and best practice.
* 5+ years' experience managing a staff of compensation and benefits analysts.
* Solid knowledge and background of compensation and benefits design.
* Experience of effectively and efficiently scaling a global total rewards functions to support the company's business goals.
* Proven ability to influence and interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
* Strong analysis/quantitative skills and the ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks.
* Ability to coach, mentor and manage direct staff.
* Manage complex projects and resources needed across multiple HR and business functions.
* Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits program compliance and governance.Education:
Bachelor's degree in HR related field or applicable field of study or equivalent; Masters preferred.
