Job Summary:
Performs the daily operations of the stock plan administration function within the Benefits Accounting Department.
Essential Job Functions:
Process stock plan option exercises and restricted stock unit (RSU) releases, and work with brokers and the transfer agent to issue shares
Calculate taxes due for stock plan option exercises and RSU releases
Issue equity grants and set-up accounts for new grantees
Process terminations and update optionee accounts
Update the equity compensation database for new grants and exercises
Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
Process payments for the outside director fees and executive financial planning payments
Manage the files of equity grant agreements and stock option transactions in accordance with the company's Records Management Policy
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with stock plan administration is highly preferred
Experience with stock plan administration applications, preferably the e*Trade Equity Edge product
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Microsoft Access knowledge is a plus
Other Qualifications:
Good organization and time management skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills needed to interface with high-level customer representatives and external vendors
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
