Overview
E*TRADE Corporate Services provides equity compensation services to over 1200 corporate clients and over 1 million plan participants. The Product Manager is responsible for defining and documenting requirements for a variety of equity compensation plan-related products and services used by our corporate clients and their plan participants, with a specific focus on the equity compensation administration system.
Position Summary
E*TRADE FINANCIAL Corporate Services is seeking a professional experienced in product development to fill the role of Product Manager in its Product Management team. This job entails end-to-end responsibility of the product development lifecycle for equity compensation related products.
This role requires a combination of strategic and tactical problem solving, coupled with strong execution capability. The successful candidate will be an experienced self-starter and have excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of achieving success in a fast-paced, results-driven organization.
Position Objectives
• Proven track record of leading product development initiatives and writing business or functional requirements
• Demonstrate strong product development functional knowledge, including an in-depth understanding of the processes, tools and techniques essential to delivering projects on-time and within budget
• Acquire intimate domain knowledge of existing Corporate Services products and services, becoming a subject matter expert with respect to current and anticipated functionality, workflows and integration points with other E*TRADE systems
• Identify and analyze functional deficiencies in our current Stock Plan product offering, and recommend corrective actions
• Translate analysis into functional requirements documentation for existing and future Corporate Services applications.
• Partner closely with a wide range of stakeholders - including Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, Technology and Quality Assurance - to ensure that product design and implementation accurately reflect the full range of market, business and functional requirements
• Use judgment and analysis to help prioritize areas for product enhancement
Qualifications
Minimum/Required
• 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in leading projects or product development initiatives, including writing business and/or functional requirements documentation
• Solid track record of deploying new product enhancements
• Bachelor's degree; Accounting or Economics background is a plus.
• Strong ability to plan and manage multiple projects in parallel
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills with peers, clients and leadership
• Combination of strong analytical and documentation skills, ability to think strategically, and deep client focus; highly quality minded
• Effective team collaboration and influencing skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team of Product Managers and cross-functionally with multiple business and technology stakeholders
• Experience in user interface design and usability is a plus
