This position requires extensive knowledge of E*TRADE's Equity Edge software platform. Good communication skills are required; there is a high volume of employee interaction. Qualified candidate will encompass the ability to make decisions, multitask in cross-function roles, as well as acting as a member of a team. Priorities will shift between immediate processing of exercise, grant, stock purchase transactions to production of reports and statements.
We're seeking an analytical, detail-oriented individual to join our close-knit team. Our ideal administrator is a people person, and although you work well in a team environment, you can also work independently when required. You're also motivated to assist Microchip in the development and improvement of internal and external processes, helping us improve our service level, efficiency, and accuracy.
Duties include:


1. Interpreting employee stock option, restricted stock unit and stock purchase plan provisions.


2. Plan record keeping and employee record set-up.


3. Processing new grants, RSU releases, Option exercise transactions, ESPP Purchases (US & International) with an understanding of the accounting, tax, and legal requirements.


4. Entering in terminations and processing ESPP withdrawals.


5. Perform monthly/quarterly share and option reconciliations. Provide periodic reports to Finance, HR, and International contacts.


6. Preparing and distributing employee communications.


7. Present new hire orientation and other training classes.


8. Maintaining On-line grant package notification and Customer Service Center through E*TRADE.



9. Answering inquiries from company employees and other departments.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience of 3-5 or more years in Equity Stock Compensation. Thoroughly experienced in using E*TRADE Equity Edge platform. Completed level two of Certified Equity Professional (CEP). Possess an intermediate level of understanding accounting fundamentals. General knowledge of HRIS systems (Peoplesoft knowledge a plus). Understanding how to integrate data from multiple applications. Proficient in Windows including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. Illustrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical abilities, and consistent follow-through. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Team oriented, dependable, and flexible with a high work ethic. Able to adapt, prioritize, and multitask-task within a fast paced environment.
