Role Synopsis
The Stockholder Relations Paralegal administers stock option and stock award plans, including preparation of evidence of stock grants, recordkeeping for number of authorized, issued and outstanding shares under each plan as well as employee exercises, and terminations and retirements.


Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Under direct supervision of one or more attorneys the Administrator will:
Perform administrative tasks in support of stockholder relations
Manage multiple inbound/outbound stockholder channels (i.e. phones, email, website, faxes, etc.)
Maintain high quality service in liaising with other departments within the organization as well as affiliates, custodian banks, and transfer agents relating to stockholder inquiries and problem resolution
Coordinate taxes, payroll and accounting actions on option exercises
Act as a liaison with transfer agent, including stock transfers and other information requirements
Provide stockholder services assistance to external and internal clients
Coordinate with external vendors to resolve stockholder queries.
Produce daily/monthly stockholder reports as necessary


Basic Qualifications
5+ years experience in a legal environment and paralegal certificate required.
High school or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and client service skills.
Strong customer relationship management and servicing skills as well as internal corporate relationship management capabilities.
Strong analytical and organizational skills and detail oriented.
Excellent calendar management skills.
Experience assisting management with the creation of PowerPoint presentations.
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Prior experience with stock options, stock plans or stockholder issues strongly preferred.
