AST Equity Plan Solutions is seeking a QA/Application Support specialist in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Description:

• Develop and design test plans specific for Stock Option/Restricted Stock and ESPP platforms


• Receive and interpret client error reports from Support


• Create and design test scenarios for Stock Option/Restricted Stock and ESPP


• Execute, review and check test cases


• Keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance as stipulated by software testing authorities


• Develop and implement software program functionality tests


• Develop and implement Stock Option/Restricted Stock and ESPP platform regression tests


• Prepare reports on defects that arise during application tests


• Track reported problems and defects using tracking software


• Support application end users in using administrative platforms efficiently and effectively to meet business objectives.


• Troubleshoot applications and software for all internal customers, such as Operations, Development, and other business units.


• Assist in designing and delivering application training programs and related courseware.


• Document efficient and cost-effective solutions for a particular application problem.


• Troubleshoot day-to-day problems with Stock Option/Restricted Stock and ESPP platforms.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• Knowledge of equity plan business


• Knowledge of Stock Option/Restricted Stock and ESPP applications


• Knowledge of methods and processes used in software quality assurance


• Knowledge and skills in modern software acceptance test methodologies


• Well developed analytical skills


• Proven problem solving skills


• Strong writing and communication skills.


• Excellent computer skills.


• Ability to train people and manage time efficiently.


• Good decision-making ability
