Business Lead Specialist
OptionEase is the market and technology leader in on-demand web based accounting compliance solutions. More than 500 companies ranging from small privately held start-ups to large multi-national public corporations are using the OptionEase solution to comply with the complex regulation of ASC 718 (formerly FAS 123(R)) and manage their equity plans.
The Business Lead Specialist position provides a tremendous opportunity for professional growth in a rapidly expanding software company. An individual's growth will only be limited by their desire and ability to learn and generate business. Individuals will be responsible working with Sr. Sales Reps to develop sales strategies to generate new qualified opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Research and identify decision makers amongst the prospective target companies in order to start sales process.
- Developing and accomplishing a region lead generation plan, meeting or exceeding monthly or annual targets.
- Prepare pre-meeting notes, profile and other relevant documents for effective transition of qualified leads to Outside Sales Team.
- Participating fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes.
- Collaborate with Sales Team to create essential strategic approaches for sales creation.
- Maintaining and expanding the database of prospects of the organization.
- Outbound and inbound account management.
- Attending sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market.
- Capturing of accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management Tool.
- Learn and understand company products and services, become familiar with equity compensation and accounting regulations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficient level computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business
- Prior consultative selling experience to C Level Executives preferred
- Prior experience in equity compensation a plus
