Job Summary and Mission



 
Starbucks
is seeking a Stock Plan professional to join their Stock Administration
Team. This team contributes to Starbucks success by managing the
company's global equity programs, including restricted stock units,
stock options and purchase plans. This team has a blend of transactional
and consultative work with the following main areas of responsibility:
(1) managing the daily activity of Stock Administration and ensuring
that our dedicated service provider complies with the terms of the plans
including execution of transactions, taxation, reporting, data
integrity and partner inquiries; (2) monitoring developments in
country-specific securities regulation, labor law, taxation and
accounting incorporating necessary changes into policies, processes, and
standards; (3) developing and implementing partner communication and
education plans to ensure eligible partners and other parties receive
timely and accurate information about our equity programs

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities of Starbucks Stock Administration and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
-Works
closely with dedicated service provider and other vendors to ensure
quality stock plan services to Starbucks partners. Investigates and
troubleshoots when problems occur, identifies opportunities to improve
administration and ensures that service levels are maintained.
-Responsible
for daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and must coordinate
with other departments (legal, payroll, tax, finance and accounting) to
provide information, resolve issues and address unique problems to
ensure compliance
-Ensures the integrity of
stock plans and partner data, working with contacts in local markets and
external payroll providers reconciling stock transactions to ensure
accurate income reporting and tax withholding globally
-Communicates
equity plan information as needed to eligible partners and other
parties, including developing sustainable educational platform with
local contacts.
-Executes on special projects,
including annual and monthly equity rewards, stock investment plan
purchases, vesting events and training.

-Customer service or office administration 3 years
-Stock plan administration and communication 3 years
