Job Description
- Manage the vesting and share delivery of Citi's global stock award programs, including the treatment of awards upon separation from the company.
- Ensure all processes are completed with accuracy and within required timeframes. Ensure compliance with program provisions and legal and tax regulations. Review and reconcile all data to ensure accuracy. Review and analyze daily and weekly processing and exception reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Partner with Legal, Tax, Payroll, Accounting, Transfer Agent, Human Resources, Global Equity Coordinators, Global Mobility and Systems on the administration of the programs.
- Act as subject matter expert on the vesting process for equity compensation initiatives and projects, including the development, testing and implementation of a new equity administration system in Q1 2012.
- Develop and deliver communications to participants and HR related to vesting events. Develop and deliver presentations to Human Resources and Global Equity Coordinators.
- Provide superior customer service to program participants and Human Resources. Resolve escalated issues for clients.
- Supervise, train and develop a small team of direct reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 4-7 years experience with stock award programs, or related experience in compensation, benefits or HR operations at a large, global company. International experience and financial industry experience a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years managerial experience. Must be able to foster a strong team environment with an emphasis on training and developing a staff.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires a great deal of flexibility with multiple and changing priorities. Must work well under pressure.
- Strong time management and organizational skills. Experience managing multiple, high priority tasks while meeting tight deadlines
- A strong facility for numbers and attention to details. Must be comfortable working with large sets of data.
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to quickly grasp and handle complex issues.
- Excellent client service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access or other relational database/report writing applications, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
