(Senior) Equity Compensation Specialist - Large Market

 The Equity Compensation Specialist (ECS) in the Large Market is responsible for interacting with E*TRADE's largest and most complex clients. The ECS creates a one-to-one relationship with each client they support and is the owner of all operational activities for the client on an Outsourcing or CoSourcing relationship. The ECS, in partnership with the Client Manager, is responsible for the overall satisfaction for our clients and works with all other departments within E*TRADE to solve client and participant issues.


Job Responsibilities



  • Proactively find areas to streamline, which minimize rework and manual intervention through process improvements, additional training, etc.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert in Equity Edge and Equity Edge On-line product design reviews representing Corporate Client Services business requirements to the Product Management organization.

  • Provide comprehensive input and impact analysis on development of custom procedures necessary to support new, incoming clients

  • Viewed as a mentor, someone who coaches and provides support for other junior ECA. And viewed as a "go-to" resource by team members.

  • Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways

  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

  • Serves as a liaison between the team and product development, engineering team to resolve critical issues.

  • Able to complete complex tasks with little or no assistance

  • Participation in the international service team

  • Strong knowledge of the global market place

  • Strong project management skills

  • Expected to be familiar with equity compensation industry, competitors, and trends

  • Ability to manage multiple complex clients with a variety of issues.

  • Acts as E*TRADE moderator for online user community sites.

  • Facilitates training for internal and external clients

  • Responsible for documentation of policies and procedures within client services.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of equity compensation administration or related experience in B2B administration, processing client transactions

  • Experience managing B2B relationships for medium to large companies

  • Ability to manage high level of assigned clients (number and/or complexity)

  • Strong knowledge of the brokerage industry, preferred

  • Extensive experience with global equity plans, complex plans such as restricted stock units, swaps/reloads, performance awards, etc., preferred

  • Strong Project Management skills

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • CEP Designation, preferred.
