OptionEase, Inc. is the market and technology leader in on-demand web based accounting compliance solutions.  More than 500 companies ranging from small privately held start-ups to large multi-national public corporations are using the OptionEase solution to comply with the complex regulation of FAS 123(R) and manage their equity plans.


OptionEase is looking for a Director of Marketing to drive and implement business-to-business marketing programs.  In this role, you will be responsible for both strategic and operational marketing functions, including vision, direction, coordination and execution.  The Director of Marketing will be expected to refine our marketing strategy, and manage the tools to implement that strategy.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Direct the development and execution of all marketing programs, with a focus on defining organization's strategic positioning in the business marketplace.

  • Possess a good working knowledge of the company's product line and customer base.

  • Identify new market opportunities and find appropriate ways of penetrating those areas, both in printed and on-line formats.

  • Develop and manage initiatives in advertising, promotion, sponsorship, special events, collateral, web site and other means that convey a unified and distinctive leadership presence in the marketplace.

  • Measure results and monitor ROI for marketing initiatives.

  • Write and oversee production of marketing collateral.

  • Manage marketing tools used to accomplish corporate marketing strategy including:  trade shows, seminars, public relations, database , social media, e-mail campaigns, website, publication advertising, sales support, etc.

  • Manage in-house creative development.

  • Identify partnerships and alliances that enrich brand positioning, enhance differentiation and generate revenue opportunities.

  • Assist in analyzing  feedback from the market to outline emerging client needs and requirements from which to build, test and implement new approaches and/or offerings.


Education and/or Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Journalism, Marketing or related field.  An advanced degree in Marketing or a MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years marekting experience in a related industry (preferrably software or high tech)

  • Knowledge of accounting practices preferrable.
