Job Description

As Global Stock Plan Administrator, you are a member Freescale
Semiconductor’s Global Rewards Group, located in Austin, Texas. You
will be responsible for managing the equity recordkeeping system and
oversee system/operational compliance for corporate equity awards
programs. Your responsibilities include the following:
-Evaluate
best practices and developments in applicable laws to drive changes in
equity system recordkeeping and plan administration. Develop and
maintain work plan to incorporate system enhancements, downstream system
interactions, vendor management requirements and required financial
reporting.
-Evaluate and monitor all aspects of Freescale’s
equity-based stock plans to ensure system utilization for best practices
in granting, exercising and taxing transactions, as well as reporting
requirements. Present change recommendations to management. Engage with
stock plan administration and tax trade organizations in addition to
working closely with the equity vendor and peer groups. Maintain plan
compliance and provide state of the art employee and participant
experience
-Evaluate and schedule equity system upgrades and/or
conversions. Identify and maintain lists of jobs and interfaces.
Facilitate and recommend downstream changes that affect systems to which
equity data is fed.
-Submit project requests to Technology
support. Participate or lead project teams where equity data is
provided to external source. Ensure system/vendor compliance and data
integrity
-Work directly with HR, Finance and Payroll staff in
international locations to insure equity programs are administered and
maintained properly and appropriately.
-Responsible for analysis,
planning, documentation, and streamlining processes. Identifies and
leads process improvement opportunities, facilitating staff training
where required. Working closely with operations teams, create process
flows and annual processing schedule. Ensure training as required
-Prepares
necessary filings/reportings as required. Works closely with internal
legal, finance and regulatory service partners to comply with
informational needs. Comply with regulatory or internal reporting
requirements
