Client Service Manager- Stock Plan Services- Richfield, OH



Job Description


Organization Objective/Purpose: The Client
Services Manager role is that of an individual contributor supporting
SPS corporate clients on a daily basis. The current client assignment
per CSM is such that the service delivery and response time has become
jeopardized and CPS impacted. In addition, team managers are covering
the overflow of clients needs and team coaching/mentoring is suffering.
This add to staff will allow additional capacity to support current
clients as well as the 2011 projected clients. Client Service Managers
are key in building the corporate relationships utilized to build our
business in additional areas of service: retirement plan, executive
services, designated brokerage, etc



Brief Description of Role:



As a Client Service Manager in Stock Plan Services at Charles Schwab, you will pursue our mission and values through:



Serve as primary contact for clients with the ability to answer
questions regarding provisions of complex equity compensation plans.

Resolve client issues usually of a moderately complex or complex
nature where analysis of issues or data requires an in-depth evaluation
of various factors.

Resolve problems with individual clients and team backup assigned clients.

Coordinate routine database maintenance, including updates to new
stock plans/awards and tracking of participant demographic and stock
plan activity.

Oversee settlement of client stock plan activity with groups
internal to Schwab and groups at the corporate client and work with the
client service operations team to handle client settlement issues as
they arise.

Coordinate and provide monthly, quarterly, annual activity and
financial reporting (FAS123r) and support ad-hoc reporting needs on
compensation plans for corporate clients.

Responsible for developing and sustaining a long-term relationship with clients.

Understand and respond to all clients' needs and requests providing satisfactory resolution.

Ability to manage several clients needs while demonstrating adaptability to change with ease.

Demonstrate excellent written skills with clarity and accuracy.
Ability to anticipate and interpret the clients needs with attentive
listening skills.

Verbally communicate with clients appropriately.

Proactively gain the knowledge required to keep up with changes in the areas of equity compensation services.

Work within and between teams knowledgeably and is dedicated to SPS team and business goals.

Represent Schwab CRPS with competent, timely and professional responses at all times



Technical/FunctionalQualifications: 2+ years of brokerage, financial or accounting experience within a corporate or brokerage environment.

Advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Office Products and applications required to perform daily functions.

Working hands on knowledge of Schwab EquiView, Equity Awards Center
and Stock Plan Manager Applications a plus to perform job function.
