Basic Job Functions:


This position supports our stock administration function and works closely with various external and internal customers. 


Experience:



  • 3 to 5 years working for a public company or a public accounting firm with relevant experience in stock administration

  • Proficiency in equity administration software ( Equity Edge software a plus)


Education :



  • BS in Finance/Accounting or similar field

  • CEP preferred


Required Skills :



  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting and relevant SEC regulations and extensive knowledge of stock administration, including knowledge of FAS 123R /ASC718

  • Strong attention to detail is a critical element to this position given the level of corporate exposure and regulatory liability associated with equity programs

  • The position is in frequent contact with internal and external business partners and requires strong collaboration skills as well as proven written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be flexible and be able to work under pressure and within short time constraints

  • Ability to process confidential data and maintain complete discretion

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Strong organizational skills


Essential Functions & Responsibilities



  • Administer employee equity transactions, including processing of employee award grants, exercises, cancellations, RSU releases, and other transactions including administration of an employee stock purchase plan.

  • Assist in the accounting for all stock based compensation, including the valuation of equity instruments, preparing the monthly expense analysis and forecasting the future impact to the company

  • Prepare and maintain required global reconciliation for all stock transactions

  • Help prepare equity reports for public SEC filings, including Form 10-K, Form 10-Q and Proxy Statement

  • Support and prepare requests from external auditors

  • Maintain Equity Edge database and the integrity of the data

  • Work closely with global Payroll teams to maintain current and accurate income and tax files

  • Communicate and process data with various other external and internal sources (e.g. brokers, transfer agents, Human Resource, Payroll, tax, and legal departments)

  • Responsible for maintenance of global tax jurisdictions and rates in the stock administration system

  • Maintain and ensure SOX and internal policy compliance

  • Respond to inquiries from employees, payroll, HR, vendors etc.

  • Prepare and timely file Section 16 reports (Form 3,4) with the SEC

  • Remain current on regulatory developments and changes for stock administration

  • Assist in enhancing and documenting equity-related procedures, policies, and controls

  • Assists with other or equity project(s) or analysis as assigned.
