General Mills is seeking a Global Stock Plans Manager. We would also consider someone at the Sr. Stock Analyst level if they show potential for growth.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will:



  • Provide day-to-day direction to stock compensation analysts

  • Conduct analysis and review of systems for improving efficiency

  • Provide day-to- day direction to stock compensation analysts; Develop employees

  • Manage vendor relationships

  • Elevate resource needs or barriers to appropriate sr. leadership

  • Stay current with legislation changes and external trends to proactively plan and adapt stock compensation programs.

  • Develop communication strategy and partners with internal communication experts to execute

  • Compensation specific duties:

    • Assists with processing of daily, monthly, quarterly and annual processes (processing option exercises, deferred compensation, annual vesting and granting, dividends, etc.)

    • Assists with SEC reporting for Section 16 Officers including Board of Directors

    • Handles inquiries via phone and email from employees, retirees and financial advisors

    • Conducts education seminars on Stock compensation

    • Assists with Proxy and Compensation Committee materials

    • Participates in compensation surveys and accomplish various compensation projects.

    • Conducts education seminars on Stock compensation

    • Have a high focus on process improvement utilizing Continuous Improvement tools





MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Significant SAP HR knowledge, including reporting skills.

  • Experience using Equity Edge software a plus



REQUIRED JOB COMPETENCIES



  • Proven skills in quantitative analysis using Excel, Access, and other database tools.

  • Working knowledge of all MS Office applications including Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong business skills and familiarity with comp programs, specifically stock comp.

  • Strong Continuous Improvement / Process Management skills

  • Collaborates effectively both inside and outside of HR.

  • Achieves results with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong people management skills

  • Proven ability to learn new systems and programs
