unceasing commitment to advancing the way the world connects. This position assists with administrative
processes related to the employee stock purchase and equity plans.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
• Provides administrative support for the employee stock purchase plan, including enrollment, purchase,
settlement, international compliance, and post purchase activity.
• Performs systems and process activities related to the finalization and delivery of all grants and award
agreements in accordance with established requirements and procedures for accounting, legal, SOX
compliance, and data quality. Reconciles data file transmissions to third party administrator and resolves
issues and problems. Creates and provides reports to meet user needs. Identifies and recommends solutions
to systemic problems.
• Maintains database application access, tables and award agreements templates. Coordinates and
prioritizes database activity with outsourced vendor.
• Performs a variety of post grant administration activities as assigned, including administration plan
and code set up, standard and special reports for exercise/sale and releases, monthly close activity, tax,
accounting, payroll, legal and ad hoc inquiries, and SOX requirements.
• Provides appropriate customer service to employees via email, phone or through outsourced vendors.
Position will be based in either San Diego, CA or Libertyville, IL.
Specific Knowledge/Skills
2+ years in a detailed process environment such as administrative support in a brokerage, equity
administration or general accounting area or other equivalent operations area. Experience with multi-
national Fortune 500 companies that have global employee stock purchase and equity plans is strongly
preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’ s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, finance, business or human
resources.
• Areas of expertise: Database maintenance/use; data retrieval using report writer(s); customer service;
and process flows. Basic understanding of stock and equity fundamentals (employee stock purchase, stock
options and restricted stock units) strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of: data quality, database
