Equity Award Consultant



Schwab Financial Planning is our premier, fee based Comprehensive
Planning solution providing clients with a specialized service and
advice built on Schwab's approach to financial fitness. Financial
Planning includes the Comprehensive Financial and Equity Compensation
Planning, and now Equity Award Consultations. Building strong, personal
relationships with our clients is a key component of our business
strategy.



Brief Description of Role:



We are looking for people with a passion for helping clients.



The Equity Award Consultants primary responsibilities are to conduct
consultations with, manage incoming calls from and make outbound calls
to Stock Plan Services participants. The Equity Award Consultant will be
expected to knowledgably answer questions about equity compensation,
including employee stock options (non-qualified and incentive),
restricted stock units and awards, and stock appreciation rights in
accordance with the Equity Compensation Advice Policies and Guidelines.
The Equity Award Consultant will engage participants in conversations
emphasizing the importance of incorporating equity compensation into
their portfolio and financial goals with the goal of business
development and retention of those assets. During consultations, the
Equity Award Consultant will review the Equity Award Summary report with
the participant providing education and guidance on the participant's
equity award holdings. The Equity Award Consultant will also be able to
discuss Schwab products and services as appropriate.

Technical/FunctionalQualifications:



We place a premium on high performance, quality service and the
ability to execute the Schwab strategy. Essential skills include:

• Undergraduate degree highly preferred
  
  

• Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 required (COE will be required for the Series 66)
  
  

• Five years experience in the financial services industry required with three or more years of equity compensation experience
  
  

• Strong Consultative sales experience
  
  

• Demonstrated experience handling client concerns and issues with tact and diplomacy
  
  

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail
  
  

• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a
  team, while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
  
  

• Must be able to develop and maintain good cross departmental working relationships
