Purpose/Role Statement
Provide
consultation regarding the design and delivery of BSC’s compensation
package in order to attract, reward and retain qualified, talented
employees.
Key Responsibilities
• Consult with HR and
appropriate management team members to research and evaluate
organizational needs within Boston Scientific and identify potential
solutions.
• Create opportunities to leverage strategic solutions, as appropriate, throughout Boston Scientific.
• Conduct technical research and analysis, plan interpretation, evaluation and design, and systems and process development.
• Assist with preparation of communications for Boston Scientific's compensation programs.
•
Participate in the job evaluation process; provide guidance regarding
job descriptions, evaluate position for proper leveling. Work with
internal customers to create alternative solutions.
• Formulate
recommendations and provide support regarding the design and development
of company salary structures, FLSA exemptions, and job creations and
revisions.
• Review existing and proposed statutory requirements
governing compensation administration and recommend appropriate courses
of action.
• Design new and next generation compensation tools for Human Resource Professionals, Managers, and employees.

Provide compensation support and training for performance management
systems (Performance Planning and Review processes, competency models)
• Serve as project manager for multiple initiatives (including global programs).
• Lead Compensation integration for newly acquired companies.
Interact
with all levels of employees, answering questions and providing
guidance and information regarding Compensation policies.
• Mentor
other Compensation Analysts within the department on various projects.
Depending on organizational structure, may have direct reports.
• Represent company in various external compensation forums/steering committees.

Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that
supports BSC's Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate
regulations for the area they support. Ensure all employees are trained
to do their work and their training is documented.
- Manages the administration and compliance of employee stock option and/or stock purchase programs company-wide.
- Provides
stock plan analysis to executive staff for internal equity. Evaluates
best practices and developments in applicable laws to drive changes in
stock plan implementation. - Manages vendor relationships and develops employee communication and education programs in partnership with the HR Department.
- Manages a team of stock administrators.

Qualifications
Bachelor's
Degree or equivalent experience. CCP and GRP certification preferred.
8+ years compensation analyst experience including 2 years in
compensation management. Current with the application of all legislative
updates pertaining to compensation. Or equivalent combination of
education and experience necessary to perform at this level.
