Compensation & Equity Program Analyst
Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support HR and Payroll. The qualified candidate must be able to work effectively and independently in a fast paced, entrepreneurial organization. He/she will be expected to manage and resolve day-to-day issues in a time sensitive manner. The qualified candidate must possess excellent Excel, Oracle and analytical skills. He or she must be able to multi-task and effortlessly work on various projects at the same time. The qualified candidate must have excellent oral as well as listening skills and be able to anticipate client needs. He or she will be required to work long hours from October through March. A key to success in this position is the possession and maintenance of a positive attitude and a creative approach to problem solving.
Job Description:


  • Work collaboratively with the Compensation Manager and Compensation Analyst

on the administration and development of global compensation programs, the annual salary review and bonus process for support and front office staff


  • Assists in the administration of equity-based compensation programs

  • Manage options and restricted stock administration - including the granting and approvals process of equity awards, data integrity, vesting schedules, exercise of options, and employee communications

  • Perform periodic reconciliation and reporting of outstanding restricted stock grants and partnership holdings.

  • Responsible for HRIS administration - development planning, training, maintenance, data collection & analysis, maintaining data integrity

  • Develop and maintain weekly/monthly/semi-monthly reports and ad-hoc reporting requests

  • Respond to audit requests, ensure SOX compliance

  • Any projects as assigned

Qualifications:


  • 1-3 years of previous relevant work experience - financial services firm preferable

  • BS in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

  • Advanced level of Excel required. Experience with HRIS Systems (i.e. Oracle) preferable. Strong analytical skills required. Knowledge of Access preferred.

  • Self Starter-must be able to work on his/her own with little direction.

  • Able to understand concepts quickly and apply them.
