Position Purpose:

Supports the development, management, and administration of company compensation programs to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports To: Director or Manager, Compensation

Peers: Compensation Analysts

Primary Customers: Corporate and Operating Group Human Resources Staff

Direct Reports: None

Responsibilities*:

· Participates in market salary surveys, compiles and analyses results, and reviews salary ranges for potential changes.

· Maintains updated salary administration guidelines, policies, salary ranges and other compensation tools.

· Administers equity incentive awards and manages the external provider relationship

· Administers merit, bonus and stock programs and review changes in wages, salaries and allotments for conformance to policy.

· Advises Corporate and Operating Group HR staff on pay decisions, policies, and guidelines.

· Administers, audits and reports on the salary increase process.

· Provides assistance and support for the Performance Management process.

· Conducts salary administration and compensation related training.

· Conducts audits and analyses as needed to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.

· Administers assigned processes and systems in support of department objectives.

· Participates on development teams for compensation and systems projects.

Position Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Human Resources required.

Experience: Previous experience in Compensation or equivalent role with strong analytical/financial emphasis.

Functional Area Skills/Knowledge

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks within assigned timeframes.

· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Must display proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
