EQUITY PLAN ADMINISTRATOR




 
JOB SUMMARY
Assists in the administration and maintenance of global long-term incentive plans to include:
researching, resolving and responding to written and verbal inquiries from employees pertaining
to Company equity securities as well as processing of stock option exercises/restricted share
releases, and periodic reporting of plan activity. Ensures records are kept up-to-date and
balances with internal departments and external vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs daily processing in a timely manner, primarily share movement and execution of
orders.
• Responsible for daily administration of employee stock option plans including data integrity,
exercises, grants, cancellations and resolution of personnel issues.
• Verifies and prepares information for the exercise of stock awards (e.g. option prices, shares
vested, trading window, tax withholdings, country specific tax issues, employment verification,
agent and broker instructions.
• Works with brokers and transfer agent to answer employee questions, resolve processing and
tracking errors and learn new administrative systems and software.
• Reconciles daily (e.g. shares exercised, daily payments of options to stock option cash
account).
• Prepares month-end equity reports for various departments: Payroll, Tax, Accounting, and HR.
• Calculates and provides disqualifying disposition information (e.g. W-2 income to payroll and
option gain to employees).
• Responds to requests for equity plan information from plan participants over email, in person,
and through the phone.
• Reconciles daily and monthly wire activity for the stock option bank account.
• Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
REQUIREMENTS
• Experience using Equity Edge software or a similar stock plan administration platform.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, project administration and verbal and written
communication skills.
• Must be extremely attentive to detail and focused on accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks at a time and take self initiative to achieve set
goals.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and discretion.
• High-level quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment as well as with all levels of employees
and vendors.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of four years experience dealing with global equity plans
• Minimum Bachelors degree in business, finance, accounting, related field, or equivalent
experience.
