Job Description:
One of our major clients in Mountain View, CA is looking for a
qualified Stock Administrator on a part-time basis. General Purpose of
Job:
- Be responsible for the day-to-day administration and
maintenance of all aspects of the organization's stock-based
compensation plans including options, restricted stock, and ESPP
Specific Functions:
- Process daily stock option exercises
- Prepare and process monthly stock option grants and restricted stock awards
- Prepare month-end exercise and tax withholding reports
- Process weekly imports to Equity Edge from Oracle
- Update and maintain reporting database with data from production database
- Reconcile the 2 Equity Edge databases to ensure accuracy of data
- Process stock vesting accelerations as required in the divestiture process
- Manage the resulting release of accelerated grants upon notification from SDG
- Assist with integration of acquisition companies as necessary
- Address daily employee questions regarding stock options, ESPP, and 401(k)
- Assist with program communication and education as needed
- Gather
data as required for projects and reports as needed (annual proxy,
vesting acceleration, SOX audits, acquisition, and international
reporting requirements) - Research employee issues and present findings to the Manager
- Test and audit program for system software upgrades
- ESPP:
maintain bi-weekly ESPP contributions; prepare an Oracle upload file
for changes to ESPP contribution percentages bi-weekly and audit ESPP
new enrollments semi-annually - Process semiannual ESPP purchases
- Create ESPP data file after purchase for confirmation emails to employees
- Assist with year-end tax reporting documents
PT Stock Administrator Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience with 1 year of related experience in stock plan administration
- Understanding of stock options, restricted stock, and employee stock purchase plans
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong MS Excel skills
- MS Access, Word, and Equity software experience
- Prefer Equity Edge Database experience
