JOB BOARD-HEAD, EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION-NEW YORK
Our client, a multibillion dollar global financial services firm, is seeking a senior-level globally-savvy compensation professional to contribute to a high-impact, high-visibility global compensation project. Currently transforming their long-term incentive structure, the 70,000 + employee organization, extending into 130 countries, seeks a 10+ year executive compensation pro to report to their Global Head of Compensation and lead a team of 4.
This key role will encompass the preparation of materials for the firm's Compensation Committee and the taking of leadership in the preparation of the company's annual proxy statement and tally sheets. Additionally, managing the processes, implementation and administration of all executive compensation programs and initiatives, along with providing analysis and report for various executive compensation projects, will be aspects of the position. The incumbent will also take the lead in the development, modeling and communication of long-term incentive programs as appropriate.
The new hire must have extensive experience in a global compensation environment. 15+ years' of total compensation experience and 10+ years' executive compensation experience are highly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good working knowledge of regulations impacting executive compensation, are expected. A background working with tight deadlines, changing priorities, equity programs and other LTI vehicles is necessary. All candidates must have a BA/BS (CCP, Master's preferred), advanced knowledge of compensation principles and techniques and advanced skills in Excel, Work, PowerPoint and Access.
