Job Description
The Executive Compensation Manager will provide primary support
to the Director of Global Compensation, the Vice President of
Compensation/Benefits/HR Operations and the Chief Human Resources
officer in the development of materials and analyses for the
Compensation Committee of the Board. Work will include a significant
emphasis on executive compensation philosophy, peer group development,
pay for performance analyses, long-term incentive design with an
emphasis on equity compensation and executive contract design.
Position Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic advice on other executive compensation issues to
management 30%
* Develop SVP+ contract recommendations and manage equity approval
process 25%
* Help manage external consultants and vendors
15%
Position Duties: Daily duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Evaluate and analyze total direct compensation survey, proxy data for
benchmarking purposes
* Stay abreast of cutting edge practices by peer companies and other
organizations with regard to compensation design with an emphasis on
long-term incentives and total rewards ROI
* Work with Finance, Stock Plan Administration, Legal on executive
compensation issues
* Mentor junior staff in a rotational assignments through Compensation
& Benefits
* 7-10 years of compensation experience
* Executive compensation consulting experience and CCP preferred
* Compensation experience at a publicly-traded entity preferred, strong
analytical skills
* Advanced MS Office and expert level spreadsheet/database/modeling
skills required
* Experience with Oracle as a Human Resources Information System
preferred
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Aptitude for balancing multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability and preference for working in a team oriented environment
