DESCRIPTION:


Corporate division has an immediate opening for a Director of HR Operations.  This position reports to the VP of HR Operations to support the processes required for the timely and accurate delivery of the Total Rewards programs. This individual will work closely with the VP of Global Benefits & HR Operations, VP of Benefits, Global Compensation, and Corporate IT with direction from the VP of HR Operations, and will be responsible for assessing and enhancing data and process requirements and the development of metrics and controls to proactively monitor administration of Total Rewards programs. This function will work closely with


Divisional HRIS/Payroll leads and Corporate Compensation, Benefits, Tax, Legal, and Finance departments to proactively assess and enhance the Total Rewards Service Delivery strategy and modify to support business and regulatory changes. This individual must have prior experience operating a shared services organization.


DUTIES/OBJECTIVES:


Job Responsibilities:



  • Assist Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Global Compensation and Benefits with delivery of "Total Rewards" (HRIS/Payroll, H&W, Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution Plans (Qualified and Non-Qualified), and Equity Programs) including compliance, identifying efficiencies and administration.

  • Supports Executive Compensation with the delivery of global executive contractual compensation components, including technical tax issues, delivery and explanation to executives and their financial advisors.

  • Assist with establishing and executing the global strategy for short and long term direction of HRIS/Payroll and Equity Plan Administration.

  • Proactively develop the procedures and data maintenance related to the vendor administration of Total Rewards.

  • Accountable for processes, results, controls, and willing to dig in on transactional issues.


REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 7-10 years relevant experience supporting HRIS and Payroll Administration including 5-7 years experience of increasing responsibility in Equity Administration of a global and multi-state organization or consulting firm supporting similar clients.

Specialized Knowledge:
• Expert on trends and internal processes related to delivery of Total Rewards programs



  • Experienced in all regulatory aspects of stock plan administration with a strong emphasis on FAS123 and Proxy/SEC reporting

  • Strong general accounting, tax and financial skills

  • Knowledgeable about payroll tax and accounting requirements

  • Internal processes related Payroll and HRIS administration


  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of tax, legal and accounting requirements related to equity plan and payroll administration
  • Strong knowledge of equity/stock administration systems.

  • Experience with operating shared services for HRIS/Payroll Systems

  • Proven experience designing, developing and managing system projects

  •  Vendor management experience


  • Managerial, communication, and skills:
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding consultative skills and the ability to influence others for which there is no direct reporting relationship

  • Ability to professionally interact with all levels including executive management

  • Proven experience managing and developing staff


  Education:


 BBA or MBA (with concentration in Operations, and/or Finance preferred)
