We are currently searching for a Senior Compensation
Analyst to join our corporate team in Chicago. Under the general
direction of the Sr. Compensation Manager, the Senior Compensation
Analyst is responsible for providing analysis and implementation of the
company compensation programs including base pay, variable pay and
equity compensation. This position analyzes and then designs project and
process solutions for the Compensation administration of 4,300
employees nationwide. The Senior Compensation Analyst will serve as an
internal consultant and subject matter expert on compensation matters
for Human Resources and Management to ensure the company�s compensation
philosophies and programs are fair, competitive, equitable and aligned
with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor�s degree
in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field,
with at least 5 years progressive project-oriented and analytical
compensation experience. A CCP designation is preferred. Equity
compensation experience preferred. Demonstrated project management
experience with cross-functional projects is necessary, as well as
proven success with the design, administration and analysis of pay
programs, policies and procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
applications including advanced Excel skills with competency in Excel
data analysis is required. Experience with HRIS systems and reporting,
with a strong preference for experience working with PeopleSoft. Strong
verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all
levels of the organization and internal and external representatives is
necessary. Additionally, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
are needed with the ability to recommend process improvements. Our ideal
individual will have the ability to meet deliverables in fast-paced
work environment, as well as the ability to work with confidential
information and use discretion is essential.
