Job Description

We are looking for a candidate with a professional presence, strong work ethic and dynamic skills.  This individual will work closely with the current Payroll and Stock Administration group on all aspects of processing employee payroll and equity compensation in accordance with company policies and all Federal and State rules and regulations.


This individual will be a liaison with other departments such as Human Resources, Accounting and Legal on shared goals and deliverables as it relates to employee compensation.  Participate in the day to day activities for both the Payroll and Equity process.



  • Payroll related task such as new hires, termination, benefit deductions, equity compensation and other taxable compensation for accurate W2 reporting.



• Equity transaction such as daily stock option trades, restricted stock vestings, equity grants and cancellations, semi-annual employee stock purchases and annual reporting of W2 transaction.

 


In addition, this individual will participate and lead projects for process improvement initiatives, documentation of departmental policies and employee educational programs.


Key Responsibilities


Performs a variety of tasks required to prepare payroll and stock data for employee compensation including the following:



  • Prepare, audit, reconcile and resolve processing and employee issues to ensure accurate reporting within payroll and equity deadlines.





  • Process exception items requiring special handling.





  • Manually calculate wages for vacations, overtime and terminations.





  • Ensures accurate reporting of payroll and equity compensation base on requirement of company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, federal, state and IRS regulations.





  • Handle confidential and sensitive employee information.





  • Provide back-up support to both the Payroll and Stock Administration group, as needed.





  • Perform other duties as assigned.


 


Minimum Requirements

 



  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.





  • 0-2 years experience in full cycle payroll processing and/or stock administration, preferable through Ceridian and/or Equity Edge system.





  • Experience leading cross-functional projects.





  • Proven experience in researching inquires and driving resolution in a timely manner.





  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.





  • Ability to manage time lines and deliverables.





  • Strong customer service expertise.





  • Strong technical skills with systems.





  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.





  • Ability to be flexible and work in dynamic, fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks.





  • Ability/experience working with employees at all levels in the organization and across all functions.





  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and have high level of organization skills.





  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.



• Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
