JOB BOARD: STOCK PLAN ADMINISTRATOR (CONTRACT)

Cree, Inc. (Nasdaq: CREE), headquartered in Durham, NC, is a market-leading innovator of lighting-class LEDs, LED lighting, and semiconductor solutions for wireless and power applications.

We are seeking a candidate to cover the maternity leave of our stock plan administrator.  The duration of the assignment is expected to be approximately 2 ½ to 3 months commencing in early- to mid-May.  We would prefer the candidate work from our Durham headquarters.  Otherwise, candidates working remotely should be available between the hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, Eastern time.

Position Requirements:

• Two or more years experience in stock plan administration with a publicly-traded company


• Working knowledge of legal, tax and accounting implications associated with equity compensation


• Prior use of equity administration software (preferably Equity Edge)


• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel


• Strong communication and interpersonal/customer service skills


• Proven ability to work independently, multitask and balance competing demands under tight deadlines
