Overview:

Oversee
the daily administration of all Tyco Electronics' stock incentive plans
and awards, including stock options, restricted stock, restricted stock
units, performance-based awards, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and
similar global programs.




Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Primary responsibilities include: 


 



  • Ensure
    stock awards are administered in accordance with the terms and
    conditions of the awards, the governing stock incentive plans, and
    internal processes and procedures.

  • In coordination with Equity Consultants, Legal and Tax, ensure TE equity plans are compliant in countries where offered

  • Work
    with other areas of HR, Legal, Accounting, Payroll, Tax and the third
    party stock plan administrator to develop and enhance procedures
    associated with stock awards and research and resolve historical issues

  • Coordinate
    ESPP implementation with local HR contacts in countries where
    possible.  Assist in communication plan, enrollment and processing

  • Develop and deliver timely communications related to stock awards, including grant notification, terms and vesting events.

  • Monitor
    stock transactions impacting the administration of stock awards,
    including but not limited to grants dispositions, for proper
    documentation and file maintenance.

  • Serve as primary contact
    for audit requests and assist in establishing and maintaining control
    procedures associated with stock plan administration.

  • Manage, mentor and assist with career development of Stock Plan Analyst

  • Provide input in the design and delivery of Tyco Electronics stock incentive plans and awards

  • Generate annual Long-term Incentive award expenditure forecasting and share usage monitoring.

  • Assist with special projects and transactions as assigned


 


Experience Required/Desired:



  • 5
    – 7 years stock plan administration experience with public companies
    handling daily operations, reporting, audit/reconciliation, and
    participant customer service.

  • CEP certification (Level 3 preferred)

  • Working knowledge of legal, tax and accounting implications associated with equity compensation

  • Experience
    with third-party vendor relations management and interaction
    (background working for or with an outsourced vendor a plus)

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with all levels of personnel

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and achieve results

  • Ability
    to identify trends and issues and independently work with different
    departments and third-party resources to take prompt action to identify
    and implement solutions.

  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information

  • Proficiency with MS Office, databases, file imports/exports, report design and creation, and data manipulation/formatting. 


 


Educational Required/Desired:



  •  Bachelor's Degree in Finance or HR; Masters preferred.

  •  Certified Equity Professional (CEP)
