Job Description


Sunpower
Corporation is seeking a Sr. Compensation Analyst to both lead and
support activities to develop, implement and administer global
compensation policies and programs. This position will work closely
with the HR, Finance and Legal departments to ensure that our
compensation programs are competitive, administered fairly,
consistently, and accurately. Key responsibilities will include:




Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:



• Partner with the management team, up to the Executive Staff, to
provide professional analytical support for all aspects of SunPower’s
compensation programs

• Lead the market analysis review for SunPower and develop
appropriate recommendations to ensure the company maintains its market
competitiveness

• Consult with HR Business Partners and leaders on all
compensation programs and practices that pertain to the respective
business groups

• Manage the compensation survey process globally, including
developing and/or participating in compensation surveys to input,
collect, and analyze competitive salary information to determine
company’s relative position

• Develop compensation guidelines and review proposed salary
adjustments to ensure conformance to established guidelines, policies
and practices


• Partner with Mgr, Compensation to develop and deliver compensation training programs


• Perform complex research, statistical analysis, and reporting


• Key contributor for the Annual Focal Review process including base salary, bonus, and equity programs


• Partner with HR Business Partners to resolve complex compensation issues


• Oversee and administer the SunPower’s recognition programs

• May prepare special studies and recommendations in the areas of
incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation, equity
programs, and international compensation

• Audit jobs for content and prepares job descriptions reflecting
job responsibilities, activities, duties and requirements and determine
FLSA assessment


• Stay abreast of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance




Qualifications




• Strong knowledge of compensation practices and theory, including base salary, incentive, sales, and equity compensation


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint


• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills


• Strong attention to detail




Education and/or Experience




• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent is required. An MBA is a plus.


• Minimum 5-8 years progressively responsible experience in compensation design, development and administration.




Language Skills




• Fluency in English is required. Articulate communication in person, by phone and email. Ability to lead internal meetings.
