SUMMARY: The
Director of HR-Compensation/Benefits/HRIS is responsible for
coordinating HR Operations, with the emphasis on benefits, HRIS
technology, and compensation, insuring GMCR and Keurig, Inc. are in
full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This includes
self-funded medical, dental, vision, 401(k), ESPP, FSA administration,
Tuition reimbursement, Cobra, Workers Compensation all Wellness related
programs and HR Stock administration. This position will work to align
total reward programs and act as a strategic thinking partner as a
member of the HR Leadership Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Plan, direct, and supervise all activities relating to the administration and maintenance of employee benefit programs.
· Developing long-range benefits strategy and vision.
· Financial analysis and pricing.
· Vendor management and relationships as well as use of consultants, benefits attorneys, brokers, etc.
· Manage the RFP / Renewal process.
· Development of communication and education programs to maximize awareness.
· Development of performance measures and metrics.
· Responsible
for the strategy related to benefits, and HRIS Technology and partner
with HR Leaders on the development of other HR function strategies such
as equity, compensation, and total rewards.
· Implement,
analyze, and control programs in a manner that ensures
cost-effectiveness, market competitiveness, and internal equity among
employees.
· Designing, managing and optimizing the use of intranet benefits website capabilities.
· Supervise the submission of government returns (form 5500).
· Responsible for SOX compliance and benefits records management.
· Participate as a member of the 401(k) Investment Committee.
· Analyze benefit programs and develop strategic plans for benefit and equity programs.
· Prepare on-going reports to analyze trends in benefits, and other HR metrics key to business success.
· Responsible for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of HRIS technology to users throughout the organization.
· Plans and assures the communication of benefit programs to all employees.
· Promote pro-active solutions in HR administration using HRIS technology and cost analysis.
· Maintain
and expand knowledge of existing and proposed laws (both federal and
state) and regulations affecting management of payroll, benefits, and
other HR areas.
OTHER NECESSARY FUNCTIONS:
· Support the daily administration of other HR services as a member of the HR Leadership Team.
· Follows all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by GMCR and the department.
· Performs other duties as requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR or a related field with 5 plus years experience. CBP, CCP, or SPHR certification preferred.
· CEBS certification preferred
· 8-10 years related benefits experience
· 4-5 years management experience
· Experience
managing multiple HR functions and specific experience managing the
work of others. Excellent analytical skills and experience working in
a financial analysis capacity.
· Experience with self-funded medical plans, consumer-directed account-based health plans (HSAs and HRAs)
· Exposure
to leading-edge benefits practices and concepts and ability to
transition ideas and concepts into practical plans and programs
· Strong team-building style
· Experience in administering all components of total rewards, including equity plans, compensation, and benefits.
· Strong working knowledge of HRIS administration, specifically PeopleSoft platforms and Kronos software applications.
· Excellent
interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work, excellent
organizational skills, and initiative to improve processes.
· Must thrive in a team oriented, highly collaborative workplace
· Ability to work with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
· Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions
· Ability to follow GMCR policies and procedures
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Predominately
sedentary light office position with high frequency of
keyboarding/computer work required (67% - 100% of the workday).
