Job Summary and Mission

This job contributes to Starbucks success by administering stock
plans accurately and effectively. Provides timely and accurate
information about stock plans to eligible partners and other parties.
Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


• Communicates
  option and purchase plan information as needed to eligible partners and
  other parties. Creates and updates procedures manuals and stock plan
  brochures. Conducts stock education seminars. Identifies opportunities
  to improve administration.


• Completes quarterly stock purchases, weekly stock data transfers to brokerage firm and stock reports for other departments.


• Coordinates
  with other departments to provide information, resolve issues and
  address unique problems. Responds to questions and requests related to
  stock plans.


• Executes special projects, including annual
  and monthly stock option grants, stock investment plan statements,
  software upgrades and training.


• Works closely with brokers
  and vendors to ensure quality stock plan services to Starbucks
  partners. Investigates and troubleshoots when problems occur, and
  ensures that service levels are maintained.

 
Qualifications
 
Summary of Experience

Customer service or office administration (3 years)

Stock plan administration and communication (3 years)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment


• Attention to detail


• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel


• Strong knowledge of related systems and technologies
