Position Description




Administers BMC's equity compensation plans, including stock options,
restricted stock, restricted stock units, and cash plans. Responsible
for loading ongoing annual and new hire grants. Maintains equity
compensation databases. Oversees equity plan processes, including data
exchange with external administrator, processing new hires and
terminations, reporting and expensing, preparation of disclosure items
for annual proxy, grant agreement acceptance. Coordinates plan
communications efforts. Manages and sets expectations for employee
service through outsourced provider. Reports to Senior Director, Global
Benefits

- Experience in stock plan administration domestically and internationally
- Working in a matrixed organization with ambiguous lines of authority
- Effective interaction with employees at all levels
- Working in a global organization, awareness and appreciation for non-US customs and style
- Clear and concise communications style; able to make complex issues clear to employees
-Well developed quantitative skills
-Advanced office workstation experience (MS Office, web research, web-based administration platforms)
-Understanding of rationale and mechanics of equity plans
Experience/Education:
-Minimum 5 years of related experience in corporate HR, finance, accounting or consulting
-Prior experience working on Fidelity Investments platform preferred
-CCP, CEP or equivalent highly desirable




Position Attributes




- Responsible for equity plans covering BMC global employee population
- Main point person for all equity plan impacts (i.e. expensing, disclosure, employee experience etc)
- Works on special projects related to acquisitions and other equity matters.
-Approximately 4,000 current equity plan participants globally
