CVS Caremark seeks a Senior Director, Compensation focusing on

• The Director must be a hands-on Director, able to drill down
while keeping the big picture in focus. Company culture is lean, and
the Director must be willing to pitch in and do what is necessary
without regard for job title.

• 8-10 years of Human Resources experience with specialization in
compensation required, preferable on a national basis in a multi-state
environment, with a large base of hourly employees. Track record of
creating and implementing compensation solutions that resulted in a
competitive advantage for the organization in terms of recruiting
success and execution of the business.

• 5 years managing a team of compensation staff with demonstrated track
record of being successful attracting, mentoring, leading, and
retaining a highly productive team with a focus on best practices.

• Demonstrated success based on a high level of interpersonal savvy.


• Experience in the administration of Stock Programs, Deferred Compensation Plans, and broad-based incentive programs.


• Demonstrated ability to design and administer a total compensation
structure that meets the needs of the employees and the business,
motivating employees and insuring market competitiveness, including a
knowledge of current market trends in total compensation.

• Demonstrated ability to be seen as the internal expert with senior
management, including the ability to build credible relationships
quickly.

• Demonstrated ability to speak comfortably and effectively to a wide
variety of groups ranging from members of the Board to large groups of
employees
