ACCOUNTING MANAGER – Incentive Compensation

Responsibilities:




- Strong concentration in the accounting and reporting for stock-based and cash compensation arrangements


- Maintain and administer all accounting aspects of the company’s stock and cash incentive plans


- Support the preparation of financial statement footnotes and proper
disclosures as well as preparation of monthly journal entries relating
to incentive compensation plans to ensure compliance with US GAAP and
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) requirements

- Assist and support monthly internal reporting to management and
quarterly preparation of external financial statements to parent
company and other third parties


- Develop key documentation, procedures and controls for incentive compensation programs


- Develop reporting systems and internal review processes relating to the incentive compensation programs

- Be a key resource in our Global Finance Transformation project,
the primary objective of which is to enhance processes to better
support the business

- Define, prepare, review and analyze various monthly schedules
and roll forwards supporting the consolidated balance sheet and income
statement

- Perform accounting research to support adherence to our
accounting policies and procedures for significant accounting
transactions in the area of compensation and other areas, as required


- Ensure proper documentation and support for monthly account reconciliations


- Review and approve monthly journal entries

- Liaison with the Human Resource, Payroll, Tax and Legal Groups
and other areas within Finance regarding cost implications for
executive and other compensation arrangements


- Support all forms of reporting to parent company


- Support the quarterly reviews and annual audits with external registered public accounting firm


- Perform month-end expense variance review and analysis


- Prepare analyses and ad hoc requests for management


- Ad hoc projects




Qualifications:




- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to IFRS including extensive knowledge of FAS 123R


- Previous experience in stock-based and cash compensation arrangements will be a plus


- Ability to work effectively as a team member in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


- Familiarity with reporting and consolidation processes


- Advanced proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications


- Working knowledge of Peoplesoft and Outlooksoft is a plus


- CPA/CA


- BS in Accounting


- 4 years or more experience in a public accounting firm environment plus 2 or more years of industry experience


- Experience working for a U.S. public registrant a plus
