Job Description:
Greensboro, NC Company has immediate need for a Manager of External Reporting.

Successful
candidate will be responsible for all the aspects of external reporting
including 10k, 10Q, XBRL compliance and US GAAP/IFRS compliance.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES;

1. Prepare external reporting documents for management review.
2. Generate and maintain external reporting working papers
3. Fill out GAAP checklists related to external reporting
4. Assist with auditors relating to 10k and 10Q questions
5. Responsible for FAS 123 R valuation and reporting
6. Responsible for GAAP/IFRS research relating to accounting and external reporting
7. Research and implementation for XBRL project.
8. Prepare impairment and fair value analysis
9. Write supporting position memos for internal and audit files
10. Evaluate changes in accounting literature and impacts to domestic and foreign operations.

Experience Level:
5+ Years

Requirements:
1. BA/BS Degree in Accounting and CPA license required
2. Minimum of three years public accounting experience including direct involvement with SEC filers
3. Experience with MS Office, Excel and Oracle or similar general ledger software. Knowledge of GAAP and SEC rules
4. Willingness to travel at times.
