Responsibilities



  • Supervise one senior tax analyst and provide technical assistance as needed.

  • Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision under FAS 109 that covers more than 10 different jurisdictions worldwide.

  • Maintain and update worldwide deferred taxes inventory.

  • Perform tax analysis of stock based compensation per FAS 123(R).


  • Manage US tax compliance to make sure the returns are filed timely,
    including detail review of return workpapers and filing documents.

  • Maintain and update tax reserve documents in the context of FIN 48.

  • Maintain and conduct tax process internal controls under SOX 404.

  • Assist with tax planning and strategies implementation.

  • Conduct tax research project as needed.

  • Handle tax inquiries and notices by various tax authorities.

    Requirements



    • 8 years plus working experience with BIG 4 and/or corporate tax
      department with well exposures to tax accounting and tax compliance.

    • Strong experience with FAS 109 and able to run the tax provision calculation independently.

    • Good experience in both federal and state tax compliances.

    • Good understanding of US tax laws and regulations governing in-bound and out-bound investment, as well as CFC operations.

    • Self starter with strong accounting, analytical and project management skills.

    • Must be well-organized, hands on and detail oriented.

    • Good communications and research skills.

    • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

    • BA in Accounting or Finance.

    • Master of Taxation preferred.
