Baker & McKenzie has written comments for the Australian Government regarding the propsed change to the taxation of equity compensation.

In my experience Baker and McKenzie has always been diligent and proactive in providing thoughtful commentary regarding changes to equity compensation around the world.  If you have (or may in the futre have) equity participants in Australia you should take a look at this document.  You may want to use all or parts of it to create and submit your own comments on this topic.

Providing proactive education outside of our tight-knit community os a major goal of the ECE.  Let's make an effort to make sure that changes around the world reflect best practices and support the proper use of equity.
