The recent Facebook decision to restrict employees from selling shares to outside investors has gotten a lot of attention on the ECE site. It has also given me a chance to point out one of the most powerful features, and reasons for, the ECE site.
The Search Function is on the top right of nearly every ECE page. Simply type in a word or phrase and your will get reults from the site, categorized by their location and date.
Try it. Type in Facebook or Broadcom and get a glimpse at the history of these companies in articles, discussions and calendar events. This powerful feature allows us to stay connected with our past. It is good at reminded us when something is new, when something is changed, or when we are just reading the same old news.
Type in a country name and get a bunch of articles. Type of a plan type and get a bunch of articles.
The main purpose of the ECE is to support the evolution of equity and share-based compensation. The only way to know if we are evolving is to know where we came from.
