IRS Postpones 6039 Returns to IRS for Another Year

The IRS released T.D. 9470 on Nov. 17, which provides that reporting to the IRS of the information required by IRC Sec. 6039 will not apply to ISO exercises and transfers ESPP shares made in 2009. Keep in mind, however, that the notices to employees must still be made by Jan. 31, 2010.
