We have an exciting opportunity for someone with strong Equity Compensation experience. As a Stock Plan Administration Analyst, you will have a proven track record with international and domestic equity compensation plans for public and/or private companies with extensive involvement with financial statements and public reporting and a strong desire to work in a different capacity in the equity compensation field.
We are currently looking for a qualified Stock Plan Administration Analyst to join the Certent Quality Assurance team at our office in Pleasanton, CA. This position is responsible for validating and ensuring the quality of the product with respect to SEC, GAAP and IRS regulation, legislation and general equity compensation policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide equity compensation expertise and knowledge of practices, trends, programs and regulations as the subject matter expert.
- Create and execute scenarios to ensure that software improvements adhere to equity compensation compliance and best practices, according to our Business Requirement Documentation, ASC718, IFRS and Sarbanes Oxley
- Record / Follow up and close issues entered into the defect-tracking system
- Escalate issues to a higher level where issue resolution is not achieved within a reasonable amount of time
- Review product documentation (Manuals/Getting Started guides) for technical accuracy
- Work with Product, Engineering, and Client Service teams to understand assigned tasks/modules/new product features for the purpose of developing test cases.
- Perform product testing according to test plans/procedures
Required Skills:
- Experience with Equity Compensation accounting and administration
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles and procedures
- Must demonstrate excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to follow and report exactly as described in test cases/procedures
- Must be able to work and be successful in a fast-paced, deadline focused work environment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification preferred
- Hands on operational experience with equity management solutions (e.g. Certent, Equity Edge, Transcentive, OptionEase) a bonus'
- SQL skills, a bonus
