Silicon Storage Technology says SEC ends stock options probe; back in Nasdaq compliance - Update 7/7/2008 6:33 PM E


 Flash memory chip maker Silicon Storage Technology, Inc. (SSTI: News, Chart, Quote )
said Monday it has formally been notified by the Securities and
Exchange Commission that the agency has terminated its investigation
into the company's past stock option granting practices without
recommending any enforcement action.

The Sunnyvale,
California-based company also said it was formally notified by the
Nasdaq Stock Market that with the holding of its annual meeting on June
27, the company has regained compliance with Nasdaq listing
requirements.

Silicon Storage Technology shares closed Monday's
regular trading session unchanged at $2.72 but gained 2 cents in after
hours trading.
