Wouldn't NOW
be an excellent time to revitalize the Western PA Chapter of the
NASPP? We need local representatives to become officers, speakers,
programming coordinators, etc. to assist with revitalization of the
Chapter.
With
so much going on in the area of equity compensation in response to the
say-on-pay environment, including the rise of performance plans, an
active chapter is key to keeping professionals who are involved in stock
plans (plan design, tax and accounting, HR and Legal Depts.) informed
about the ever changing world of equity compensation. The information
sharing at chapter meetings is priceless!
We’ve
had scores of meetings since the Chapter was formed nine years ago, but
we may have lost some momentum recently, and we’d like to regain it! We
think doing so will require broader participation by professionals
involved with stock plans throughout the region. Working with an NASPP
board requires a very small effort with endless educational
opportunities. If you are interested in working with your peers to
re-energize the NASPP Western PA Chapter, please let me know.
