The CEPI at Santa Clara University is pleased to release the draft version GPS |Participant Education and Communication for
public comment until February 15, 2013. This landmark publication is
the culmination of extensive interviews, in-depth analysis, case studies
and significant technical input. Individuals and organizations are
invited to send written comments on all matters in this draft.
Specifically, the CEPI invites individuals and organizations to comment
on the following issues:
- Does
the publication provide a comprehensive and accurate description of the
unique challenges of effective communication strategies for equity
compensation?
- Are
there any additional topics that should be addressed - especially in
Section 5 "Information to be Communicated" and Section 7 "Communicating
Equity Compensation?”
- What additional information should be provided to assist companies in implementing/modifying communication plans/strategies?
- Is additional guidance necessary for any of the topics covered in this publication?
- Are the definitions in the Glossary sufficient? Are there terms that are missing or not needed?
Comments
are requested from those who agree with this draft as well as from
those who do not. Comments are most helpful if they identify the issues
or specific paragraph or group of paragraphs to which they relate and
clearly explain the issue or question. Those who disagree with
provisions of this draft are asked to describe their suggested
alternatives, supported by specific reasoning.
