Nominate Yourself, or someone else, for the GEO (Global Equity Organization) Board

GEO's
Annual Board of Directors' nomination period is currently open. If you
are interested in serving on GEO's Board of Directors for the term
beginning 1 July 2012 you must formally apply by 21 May 2012.
GEO's
Board is responsible for setting the strategic objectives of the
Organization and ensuring that the necessary resources are in place to
secure those objectives. Our Board tends to be highly engaged and
enthusiastic supporters of the Global Equity Organization. Each Board
Member is required to commit to attending two in-person meetings (held
in either the U.S. or Europe) each year. For more information regarding
the responsibilities of Board Members, please review GEO's bylaws.
To
formally apply for the GEO Board, you will need to provide a photo of
yourself, a short statement describing why you want to be on the GEO
Board and a current biography. Visit the GEO Elections
page for further information and to submit your details. All
nominations must be received via the online nomination tool no later
than Monday, 21 May 2012 at 5:00PM PDT.
Board
Elections will take place 1 June to 15 June and new Board Members will
be announced in late June. Only individuals who are GEO members by 31
May 2012 will be eligible to vote in the elections.
