Attention CEPs: The CEPI needs your help
You pick up the phone. The stranger at the other end says, “I’m a CEP.” What do you want to assume they know?
To help answer that question, the Certified Equity Professional Institute (CEPI) is conducting a job analysis survey asking about current practices and trends in the equity compensation profession. The survey is in two parts. One asks about the tasks CEPs perform in their day-to-day jobs, the other about the importance of specific knowledge and skill sets.
All CEPs are being asked to participate. If you have your CEP designation but have not received information regarding the survey, please contact me at pchernoff@scu.edu.
Those who complete the survey are eligible for two hours of CEP continuing education credit. In addition, we will hold two drawings for $500 gift cards. Those who complete the survey by May 11 will have four chances to win, those who complete it between May 11 and the May 25 deadline will have two chances to win.
The CEPI will use the results of the study to develop future versions of the CEP examinations, to identify major professional development needs of equity compensation professionals, and to continue developing curriculum that serves as the industry’s educational standard.
