GPS | Employee Stock Purchase Plans Open for Public Comment Until November 24, 2011
















The CEPI at Santa Clara University is pleased to release the draft version GPS | Employee Stock Purchase Plans
for public comment until November 24. This landmark publication is the
culmination of extensive interviews, in-depth analysis and significant
technical input.  Individuals and organizations are invited to send
written comments on all matters in this draft. Specifically, the CEPI
invites individuals and organizations to comment on the following
issues:



  • Does the publication provide a comprehensive and accurate description of the unique aspects of ESPPs?  

  • What additional topics should be addressed in the Strategic Issues section?

  • What additional information can be provided to assist companies in implementing/modifying their ESPPs?


  • Is additional guidance necessary for any of the topics covered in this publication?




Comments
are requested from those who agree with this draft as well as from
those who do not. Comments are most helpful if they identify the issues
or specific paragraph or group of paragraphs to which they relate and
clearly explain the issue or question. Those who disagree with
provisions of this draft are asked to describe their suggested
alternatives, supported by specific reasoning.

The CEPI at Santa Clara University once again gives professionals an opportunity to let their voices be heard in creating best practices, this time for ESPPs.  Take a few minutes to read the document and comment.


We are all incredibly busy, but documents such as the GPS documents are becoming de facto resources for our industry.  If you want a say, you have to participate!
